Croquets Almond Cake



An excellent recipe brought from Provence , thank you to Maria for making me discover these delicious crunchy biscuits well (hence the name) made few minutes. Ingredients for 120
croquet about:

500 g flour 500 g almonds 400 g sugar


4 medium eggs 1 packet vanilla sugar 1 bag
baking powder 1 pinch salt

(You can divide proportions by 2) Preheat
oven to 175 °
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, eggs (I used the mixer and hook, but we can make this mixture by hand), add the almonds, mix well and turn the dough onto a floured surface, form four rolls of 40 cm. Asking these socks on 2 baking sheets covered with parchment paper, brown egg yolk and bake for 1 hour at 175 degrees.
Cool a few minutes out of the oven and immediately cut into slices about a centimeter.
Store in an airtight tin before they fly away ......
Variation:
- replace almonds with hazelnuts or mixed nuts.
- add a dash of orange or lemon.
- add 2 tablespoons of orange blossom water.
- add pink pralines.
