Jenny was born in May 1939 in Charleville. First child of Raphael Fresco and Solange Niego, both original Judeo-English.
In the English peninsula, their ancestors were expelled in the fifteenth century by the crowns of Aragon and Castile to Constantinople.
Then in 1914, Fresco Nessim branch emigrated to France. Followed by the branch Namer.

With the war, Victor is mobilized. Certainly he was born in 1913 in Turkey but having done his military service in 1931 under the French uniform, he was recognized French citizen.
As for Raphael, born in 1908, it is still a Turkish citizen but he enlisted in passive defense. Ambulance in Charleville, he returned once put away his Laval.

With the breakthrough at Sedan in May 1940, the Ardennes are still and always put to fire and blood. The synagogue is bombed Sedan. Refugees fleeing the fighting. The Mayenne is submerged in a flood of desperate people and more than 150,000 exiles. Caught in the movement, Jenny and her family abandoned Laval Lonzac in Saintonge. But invaders always go further and faster. Their uniforms pollute the Mayenne from 17 June The armistice was signed on 22. The next day the Germans occupied the Lower Charente. Fresco then return on their steps and find the 8th of the road from Angers to Laval.

followed raids. Mayenne, a third wave is organized on 9 and 10 October 1942.
The 10 to 6 am, the world became for Fresco. No less than seven feldgendarme (plus their interpreter) come on board for a rally near the stadium Laval then a transport to camp Mulsanne Le Mans.

Behind the barbed wire, stick together:
- the maternal grandmother, Jeannette Niego,
- grandparents Nessim and Eugenie Fresco
- children of the latter, Raphael (with his wife Solange and their little Jenny, 3 years),
- Annette Namer and his son Jack, 4 years (father, Victor, is a prisoner of war in Stalag XIII)
- Sammy, the cadet.

January 24, 1944 remains a landmark. Comes a letter from Paris and signed by the father of Victor Namer. To send this notice posted by the Turkish Embassy, " Starting today, the Turkish Jews are considered the French Jews. "
Raphael seeks immediately how to escape new arrest followed inevitably a deportation ...

A showman Raphael directs to a mechanic Ernee, Pierre Le Donne (notoriously resistant). The latter found a home in Saint-Pierre Landes's farm in the Rousseau family. Annette, Jack and Solomon are welcomed. The rest of the family is living in "Little Pear", a farm belonging to Rollo and Lambert but operated by Fauque. The latter will take all the risks for the persecuted.

This "Little Pear" includes only a single piece surmounted by an attic accessible by a ladder. And Annette, Jack Solomon and eventually rejoin the family. It now bears the name and password to Fauque cousins from Paris who preferred to go green near their families in Mayenne.
Start existence precarious. With the obligation to feed without fueling tickets 9 new mouths while evading the curiosity or even malice and even denunciations. A long wait confines the family behind blankets tight windows and front door entry.

Then the Allies successfully landed in Normandy, but they then seek to hold German lines. 5 August 1944, a resistant Ernée Rene Justin, will guide the Americans. The front line is fluid and "Little Pear" remains between the two enemies three more days ...

Fresco will finally escaped the Holocaust. Those refugees in Mayenne. Alas no uncles, or a sister of the grandmother Fresco, or an aunt Jackie, nor Fresco Lonzac-Reims.

P. 252. Henriette Beaudiot, Righteous Among the Nations

.

Ceremony Mountains

June 27, 2010, the Medal and Diploma of Righteous Among the Nations were awarded posthumously to Henrietta Beaudiot. Daughter of the deceased, Lucette Joseph received at a ceremony organized by Didier Cerf, delegate of the French Committee for Yad Vashem.

Summary File Yad Vashem:

- "A native of Lorraine, Beaudiot Harriet lived with her daughter, Lucia, Mountains, more precisely at a place called Chauveau. The mother had then 46 years and Lucia 18.
Both are knowledge GEROfit spouses, refugees from Austria, which evoke the fate of Patrick and Sonia Daneman and their son Sasha (Alexander said). These are the Jews of Latvia. Arrested in Bordeaux, they were sent to Camp La Lande, near Mountains.

Patrick Daneman had remained confined while his wife Sonia and their son Sacha could reside in Tours.
Stitches in Time, Sonia came to rest in Henrietta Beaudiot mother who gnawed with anguish kept repeating:
" If, one day, something happened to me, promise me to keep my little .

As a result of an operation in the ears, Daneman Patrick was released from the camp to be assigned with his family Origet Street Tours. Daneman's regularly invited to Henrietta Beaudiot and Lucia.
Occurs the raid on July 16, 1942.
Patrick and Sonia Daneman stopped Origet Street Tours. Led first at the Ecole Normale de Saint-Symphorien (Tours), they are then detained and then deported to Los Angeles without a return to Auschwitz.

And Sacha?
During the raid, the owner of the apartment Street Origet hides the boy all night, then put it on the train to mountains where Sacha joined Henrietta Beaudiot.
This will pass to Sasha nephew.
Dr. Mercier, Mayor of Mountains, presents a certificate of exemption to school boy he is not obliged to attend primary school. A lady will give her lessons at home two to three times a week.

Bridget will escape the Holocaust. This will unfortunately not the fate of GEROfit. Also housed in Henrietta Beaudiot, they are arrested in their turn. And deported to Auschwitz with no return in October 1942.

The Fair Henrietta Beaudiot (Arch. Fam. / BCFYV / DR).

College Evidence Mounts:

- "My great grandmother was Mrs. Beaudiot Henrietta, age 46 years at the time of this story and my grandmother, Mrs. Joseph Lucia, then 18 years.
(...) Sasha arrived at my grandmothers who lived next to the station with his suitcase, thinking his parents were at the corner of the moor.
Alas ...

My great grandmother kept her home by posing as a nephew of the east, itself being a native of Lorraine. A certificate from Dr Mercier, Mayor of Mountains, allowed Alexander to not attend the local school (fear of the accent?).
As for his parents, arrested in Tours, Origet street, they were taken to the Normal School of Saint Symphorien (Tours), deported to Los Angeles, then to Auschwitz. Patrick was killed leaving the camp because he did not walk fast enough and Sonia died in the gas chamber.

Mr. and Mrs. GEROfit while they were staying at my grandmothers last three months, were arrested and deported in October 1942, also at Auschwitz. Seals were placed on the room they occupied. "
